AGE Guardian Fund

The AGE Guardian Fund was created in honor of a group of individuals and organizations who stepped up to help older adults and family caregivers in Central Texas when they needed it the most.

AGE of Central Texas – like so many other organizations – faced crippling financial challenges when the COVID-19 pandemic hit our communities. AGE immedietly turned to our community partners for support, so that the older adults and family caregivers that we serve could continue receiving some form of care. The generosity that the Central Texas community showed the aging community, through their immediate support of AGE, was overwhelming.

In recognition of those who gave $1,000 or more in emergency funding, AGE launched the Guardian Fund in July 2020.

Now known as Guardian Fund Founders, this group of individuals and organizations will see the impact of their gifts for years to come. During a pivotal time in our history, when caregivers were called to the front lines, and older adults were at their most vulnerable, the AGE Guardians answered the call for help and stepped up to make a difference.

Moving forward, The Guardian Fund will continue in honor of the founding members and recognize donors who give $10,000 or more annually beginning Spring 2021.

Members of the Guardian Fund will receive the following benefits:

  •  Invitations to a VIP Event in their honor hosted by AGE
  • A letter and handmade gift from an older adult or caregiver served by AGE
  • Public recognition at AGE’s Central Austin facility. Naming opportunity to be debuted in Spring of 2021.
