AGE of Central Texas is partnering with the Pflugerville Community Church to host the free, virtual Pflugerville Seniors Conference on October 12th through 16th, 2020, with daily presentations from 10:00 am to 11:30 a.m.
The fifth annual community event will feature area experts discussing topics that include COVID-19 medical information and updates, paying for long-term health care, financial and advanced care planning, and brain health as you age.

“The Art of Long-Term Care Planning”
Financial services professional Lorna Allen, M.S., MBA, will discuss how to plan toward paying for long-term care and health care as you age.
Wednesday, October 14th; 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.:
“COVID-19 Updates for Older Adults”
Baylor Scott and White Health professionals will provide healthcare and research updates on COVID-19, along with projections on what to expect next in the fight against the pandemic
Thursday, October 15th, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.:
“Brain Health and Aging”
AGE of Central Texas expert K.C. Lawrence, LMSW, will discuss will discuss cognitive changes as we age, and issues related to early memory loss.
Friday, October 16th; 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.:
“The 5 Legal Documents That Everybody Needs as They Age”
Attorney Keith Leuty of the Barnett & Leuty Law Firm will discuss the legal documents everyone needs to protect themselves and their assets.
