About the Role
Do you care about older adults and family caregivers? Are you excited and/or inspired by the prospect of leading an organization through an era of expansion that is expected to DOUBLE the number of older adults and family caregivers to be served in Central Texas? If so, we want to hear from you!
AGE of Central Texas is seeking individuals to join the organization’s Board of Directors to oversee a critical era of expansion that will include the operational launch of a new state-of-the-art facility in South Austin, scailing programs up to serve more people, improving the organization’s infrastructure to withstand growth, increasing community advocacy, and growing awareness of AGE’s presence in the community.
Board members will have the opportunity to apply creativity, critical and strategic thinking, and their unique talents to advance the organization’s work toward achieving AGE’s vision- A society where aging is a shared journey marked by connection, strength, and vitality, and the role of caregiving is supported through community, collaboration, and guidance.
