K.C. Lawrence, LMSW earned the degree of Master of Science in Social Work, as well as a certificate in non-profit leadership, at the University of Texas in 2012. K.C. has more than 18 years of experience in both for-profit and non-profit settings. During her career, she has served older adults and their families as they face challenges such as living with dementia, transitions, and changes in functioning. Her experience is in a variety of settings, including long-term care, home health, and as serving as AGE’s Memory Connections Program Director from 2015 to 2021. As of November 2022, she returned to AGE in the Chief Program Officer Role to oversee the agency’s programs of direct service. K.C. is passionate about empowering older adults and family caregivers to live how they chose to and find meaningful connection – even in the midst of difficulty.

Blair Loaiza is a dynamic professional currently serving as the Vice President of Development at AGE, a position she has earned through her dedication and exceptional contributions over the past four years. Blair’s journey with AGE began as an intern, and she has since climbed the ladder, holding four distinct roles that have showcased her versatility and commitment to the organization.
As the Chief Development and Communications Officer, Blair leverages her passion for corporate philanthropy and strategic growth to drive mission impact. She leads the organization’s development and communications efforts, overseeing annual campaigns, signature events, and corporate partnerships. With a proven ability to cultivate meaningful relationships, Blair has played a pivotal role in expanding AGE’s network of supporters and strengthening its presence in the community. Her expertise in development strategy and corporate engagement has been instrumental in advancing the organization’s vision and long-term sustainability.
Beyond her impactful work at AGE, Blair is deeply involved in community service and leadership roles. Currently serving as the President-Elect of her local Rotary club, she is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community and contributing to meaningful causes. This commitment to service aligns seamlessly with her professional endeavors, showcasing Blair’s holistic approach to making a difference both within and outside the workplace.
On a personal note, Blair is a proud and loving dog mom to a scruffy canine companion named Blue.

Bonnie How is a dynamic leader and accomplished public speaker currently serving as the VP of Community Engagement at AGE of Central Texas. With a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology and a diverse professional background, Bonnie brings a wealth of experience to her role in supporting older adults and family caregivers. She is known for her strong skills in program planning, group facilitation, and collaborative relationship building across various sectors, including non-profits, government agencies, and for-profit enterprises.
Throughout her career, Bonnie has held positions as a pastor, massage therapist, and youth ministry leader. In her current role at AGE of Central Texas, she oversees supportive services for older adults and family caregivers, including support groups, personalized consultations, and durable medical equipment loans. Bonnie has successfully launched new programming, fostered community partnerships, and collaborated on educational conferences for older adults and family caregivers.
Recognized for her sensitivity, compassion, and ability to diffuse difficult situations, Bonnie has earned a reputation for her active listening and resolution skills. She also demonstrates strong administrative abilities, particularly in finance, database management, and annual reporting. Committed to lifelong learning and professional development, Bonnie continuously seeks ways to improve her skills and knowledge to better serve her community, aligning perfectly with the mission of AGE of Central Texas.

Lauren Benavides has a background in nonprofit fundraising, skilled in relationship building and event and project management. She has dedicated her career to uplifting the voices that surrounded her, many of which are marginalized and unheard.
Lauren was a caregiver to her grandmother with dementia and is passionate about AGE’s work to help older adults and their caregivers thrive while navigating the nuances of aging and caregiving.

Lauren Tiggeman has worked at AGE of Central Texas since 2017, first serving as the program director of the Austin Thrive Center. Lauren is especially passionate about creating warm, welcoming spaces of belonging and providing affordable daytime care and social wellness support for older adults living with physical or cognitive needs. She grew up in Texas then earned her Bachelor of Arts at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. She moved to San Francisco before settling back down in Austin. Lauren has 3 rescue dogs at home, enjoys outdoor sports with her husband, and boxing at a local women’s gym.
Lauren is deeply committed to the AGE of Central Texas’ mission to combat social isolation among older adults. She strongly believes that social interaction and purposeful activities are key to maintaining health and well-being as we age. Lauren is always looking for new ways to enrich the lives of AGE members through innovative programming, community partnerships, and a welcoming environment for all. She enjoys meeting members and hearing their stories, and is energized by the joy and laughter that fills the centers each day.
