Health Equipment Lending Program

Unwanted or unneeded medical equipment has life-changing power when it is passed along.

The Health Equipment Lending Program, based in the historic AGE Building in Central Austin, loans durable medical equipment to elderly and disabled people across Central Texas. In 2011, more than 2,800 pieces of equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, commodes, and shower seats were provided at no charge to people in need. The program also distributes donated incontinence products to needy adults.
